A traditional medieval equestrian parade in the city centre, during which young riders compete in prowess.
Since the early 1890s, the Nostra Senyora de Gràcia festivities have been celebrated in Maó every year at the beginning of September with a medieval-style equestrian parade in which young riders display their prowess. Menorcan horses and riders dressed in traditional costume parade through the town center. In the evening, a jaleo is held in the town hall square. The festivities begin with the Pregó (inaugural speech) on the evening of the 6th and end on the evening of the 9th, on the balcony of the Town Hall, with a popular song.
