Museum highlighting local know-how through two workshops.
It is the museum of energy and motive power at the service of Man. The tour shows the visitor the methods and machines developed since the industrial revolution. One of the most remarkable pieces is a steam micro power station, which provided electricity to the old sawmill. A part of the museum highlights local know-how through two workshops. The association Patrimoine mécanique et savoir-faire au pays d'Ambert, which manages the site, was awarded the first Groupama Industrial and Scientific Heritage prize in the fall of 2018.
