The small Hotel S'Antiga bears its name for a reason: the word means "ancient" in Catalan, and refers to the building it occupies. And why? Because it used to be the village girls' school, before becoming the home of Pepe de Cas Sucrer, a much-loved figure in Es Mercadal! Today, the building has become a lovely hotel with 10 bright rooms and a certain cachet. There's also a patio, swimming pool and a number of pleasant communal areas! A very good address, central and well-kept.

El hotel tiene pinceladas de lo antiguo mezclado con todas las comodidades del ahora. La ubicación es imposible de mejorar y la atención es tan embaucadora que te acabas creyendo que eres alguien importante. Me hubiera gustado muchísimo alargar la experiencia unos días, meses, en fin... Mi mujer y yo nos hubiéramos quedado en S'antigua para siempre.

La habitación cuida todo los detalles, el desayuno muy bueno y su ubicación muy buena también ya que queda en medio de la isla.
