CHURCH OF SANT BARTOMEU
The church of Sant Bartomeu, made of sandstone, has a nave and side chapels and dates from the 14th century.
The church of Sant Bartomeu dates back to the 14th century (documents from 1362 mention the presence of a temple here). At the time, field workers were scattered throughout the surrounding area, and it was around this rallying point that the village of Ferreries was naturally built. However, between 1695 and 1730-1740, another church was built in its place, with a simple sandstone structure, a nave and side chapels. The choir is located in the trapezoidal apse opening onto the nave.
