Cootramo cooperative cabs are blue cabs. They can be ordered online or by phone, or picked up at the station head. We always remind you of the basic safety instructions in Rio. Don't hail a cab on the street, but ask the pousada or restaurant to hail it for you, or pick it up at the stations, where there are plenty of them. There are night fares and day fares with clearly defined timetables. Drivers must put on the taximeter as soon as they pick up the customer.
