Cooparioca cabs are yellow cabs with a horizontal blue stripe. They can be ordered online or by telephone, or picked up at the station head. We always remind you of the basic safety instructions. Don't hail the cabs on the street, but have them called by the pousada, or pick them up at the stations where there are many of them. There are night fares and day fares with clearly defined timetables. Drivers are required to put on the taximeter as soon as they pick up the customer. From R$100 for Copacabana.
