Well, one associates more Blumenau with the kitchen of the other side of the Rhine than the bohemian district of Santa Teresa. And yet... In case of sudden desire of sauerkraut or sausages in the German way, Adega do pimenta is a good address. In a rustic and almost alpine setting, Herr Pfeffer will welcome you with his usual bonhomie to taste very good specialities from across the Rhine. You can even taste a German feijoada! Also a very good strudel for dessert.
