One of our favorite spots in Copacabana. Barraca da Chiquita brings North Eastern cuisine to Rio. All the traditional dishes, carne do sol, baiao, picanha de carne do sol, churrasco misto com tropeiro... are tastefully offered in a traditional setting. You'd be forgiven for expecting Lampião and Maria Bonita to emerge from their Sertão after a long ride. The staff, wearing the traditional leather hats of the vaqueiros, are helpful and professional. Forro bands perform on weekends. Annex to Feira do Nordeste in São Cristovão.
