Founded in 1874, Café Lamas doesn't look like much. Yet it's a historic establishment in the Flamengo district. It's like stepping back in time. All the enlightened personalities have frequented this place, which used to be the headquarters of the Communist Party. You could have bumped into Jorge Amado or Oscar Niemeyer. The choice of dishes is impressive, almost as much as the well-regulated ballet of men in white jackets and bow ties. We particularly recommend the succulent filet mignon. A place to know
