For many years now, Azumi has had the reputation of being one of the most traditional Japanese restaurants in Rio de Janeiro... and there are plenty of them. It's certainly a good sushi restaurant in Copacabana! Admittedly, the setting isn't exactly the prettiest we've ever seen, but the sushi and sashimi platters are very good. Better to eat at the bar to see the chef at work (and take your eyes off the room!). There is no "fusion" cuisine. The dishes are traditional. Service is of variable quality.
