L'Alfaia is a good Portuguese address. Alfaia's bolinhos de bacalhau (codfish balls) are ranked among the best in Rio at every "comido de boteco" competition. Portuguese origins are still very much present (discover bacalhau à patuscada, for example, or bacalhau espiritual). You can also choose a very good octopus grilled with red pepper. Dishes vary throughout the week, and delivery is available. The wine list features some excellent Lusitanian vintages. Very popular in the neighborhood.
