To enter Georges is to enter a mecca of Brazilian modernist architecture from the 70s. Sometimes you get the impression that the facetious Oscar Niemeyer is about to join you at the bar for a caipirinha. The 360° view from the patio takes in the magnificent bay of Rio. Concrete blends subtly with precious tropical woods. The swimming pool seems at one with the Atlantic forest. The magnificent suites, with showers overlooking the forest, are named after artists... of course. A must in Santa Teresa.
