The Accor Group has chosen a second Latin American city, after Medellín, to establish one of its Jo&Joe establishments. And with good reason. The beautiful mansion on the largo do Boticario, in the Cosme Velho district, looks like something out of a naive art print. The decor sets the tone for the place, which is open, local and bohemian, with paintings that seem to be the fruit of the skilful hands of favela artists. Whether you're a single traveler, a couple or a family, you'll find a place to sleep in a single room or a dormitory. Bar and restaurant. A cool place.
