Close to the Aterro de Flamengo, near the Catete metro station and Largo do Machado, the Imperial Hotel enjoys an ideal location. It's one of the best hotels in the area in its price range. There's a swimming pool at the back and a few deckchairs for sunbathing. The breakfast is very copious. The 92 rooms are simple for the "standards", cosy for the "luxuries" and "suites", but all tastefully decorated. Rooms on Calle del Catete are brighter, but a little noisy; ask for a room on the courtyard(de fundo).
