At the top of Sugarloaf, as at the foot of Corcovado, the temple merchants have set up shop, selling souvenirs and other trinkets of varying degrees of interest. The classics (pens, key-rings, T-shirts, miniature Corcovado) may often seem kitschy, but it's fair to say that some of them serve their purpose well as souvenirs, and can be much appreciated as small gifts. Pens and key-rings in Brazilian colors are particularly popular.
