VINICIUS BAR

The Vinicius Bar, on the street of the same name, opposite the Garota da Ipanema bar, is a bossa nova institution in Rio. The intimate upstairs concert hall has played host to some of the biggest names in bossa (Baden Powell, Wanda Sa, Dori Caymmi...). It continues to regularly host the great (and talented) Maria Creuza and her velvet voice. To be listened to with a glass of caipirinha in hand... Even today, despite the gentrification of the neighborhood, the same atmosphere of Brazilian music lovers can be found every weekend.
