Opened in 1919 and listed as a heritage site in 2011, Bar Do Gomes is a Santa Teresa institution. Regulars come here to have a drink with friends, standing on the sidewalk. You quickly blend in with this mixed crowd of locals and visitors. The caipirinhas are prepared with one of the many cachaças on the menu. The old-fashioned decor features bottles stacked to the ceiling, pretty mosaics on the floor and friendly waiters.
