The Garota de Urca is part of the Garotas chain of bars and restaurants. Of course, the first and most famous will always be the one in Ipanema, but the Garota da Urca has its own little touch of magic. Just a stone's throw from the Sugar Loaf, Rio's picture postcard, the Garota boasts a magnificent view over Guanabara Bay. It's a great place to nibble on bolinhos de bacalhau (codfish balls) and sip a mug of draught beer after a sunset visit to Pão de Açúcar.
