Cardosão is part of Carioca's cultural heritage. Like the Armazém do Senado, it used to be a grocery store. It's considered the most traditional boteco in the Laranjeiras district, which has managed to retain its soul of yesteryear. Elegantly set in a corner of a busy street on weekends, samba bands liven up the place, giving it a soul of its own, where locals and visitors mingle. You can also enjoy a drink here. An excellent feijoada is served on Saturdays. Don't miss it!
