Founded in 1947, 9 times champion of the samba schools competition, this school is one of the most traditional in Rio. The school was born from the desire to create a democratic association where decisions were taken in common, as opposed to what happened in Prazer da Serrinha, the original school. Its colors are green and white. The Imperio Serrano Cultural offers classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers. You can take an experimental class of your choice, and the rhythm that suits you best.
