Visible from the plane when arriving in Rio, or by driving from the international airport to the city center, this church takes on an almost fairytale-like appearance with its two pointed bell towers, perched on a hill in the middle of the bay. Access is via a 365-step Stations of the Cross, or a welcome elevator. Situated in the heart of the Zona Norte, in an unfortunately unsafe area, it's not a good idea to go there alone.
