Museum presenting a permanent exhibition of modern science based on the universe, matter, life and computing
Rather like the Mining School Museum in Ouro Preto, the Science Museum's collection is mainly made up of scientific instruments that belonged to the national observatory. A permanent exhibition focuses on four different aspects of modern science: the origin of the universe, the origin of matter, the origin of life and the origin of information. You can, of course, observe the sky from the center of a glass dome equipped with telescopes.
