In the tropical paradise of Ilha Grande, we go to the Canoa Café Lounge for its location, of course, but that's not all. The decor matches the surroundings and the cuisine is refined. Everything is a pleasure for the senses. The camarao crumble, the falafel, the vegan dishes, right up to the homemade dessert, the Canoa crumble. Enjoying a caipirinha or a Jorge Amado cocktail, made with local cachaça, passion fruit and lime, while watching the sun go down, is an unforgettable moment. The pleasant, professional service can be (very) time-consuming.

Un cocktail Jorge pas Amado du tout
Après une longue attente durant laquelle nous avons vu les personnes arrivées après nous être servies, mon cocktail Jorge Amado est enfin arrivé. L’après-midi j’en avais goûté un exquis au Peixe com Banana, où l’on sentait le goût cannelé de la cachaça Gabriela mélangé avec de vrais morceaux de maracujá. Ce qu’on m’a servi ici n’avait rien à voir : acide, mauvaise cachaça, nectar de maracujá sans goût, le tout bien trop cher. Il a encore fallu attendre un bon moment pour régler. Attrape-touriste à éviter.

Lieu paisible au bord de la mer
Le café propose des cocktails de qualité. De plus, des plats végétariens sont proposés, tout ça les pieds dans l'eau, magnifique !
