The Canoas restaurant is another of the island's must-try institutions before heading back to the mainland or continuing on to Paraty. As well as the pleasant decor and ambience, it's the dishes that leave you with a taste of home! The seafood dishes, especially the grilled octopus, are to die for. Fortunately, the current trend is to stop eating octopus, which is too sensitive, so this tempered our appetite. Everything is good, from starters to dessert. Prices are a little high.
