A beach a little further from the center than Pontal, offering a great attraction where its mud has many virtues
Jabaquara beach is a little further from the center of town than Pontal, and this is undoubtedly one of its main attractions. It lies to the north of Praia do Pontal, behind a small hill. It's a fairly long beach, lined with pousadas and a campsite. It has, however, remained quite wild. The main attraction here is the mud, which is said to have many virtues. During Carnival, a carnival bloco even starts its route here, rolling in this brown tide before starting the parade through the streets of the town.
