The wild beach of Praia do Sono, ideal for hiking, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Trinidad region

Paraty's beaches don't have much appeal, and we stay in Paraty for the charm of its architecture and its old-fashioned atmosphere, a little out of time or out of the islands. However, a few kilometers from the old end of the gold route, Praia do Sono beach is well worth a stop to appreciate the beauty of the place. This is one of the region's most beautiful, unspoilt beaches, reached after a 2-hour hike through the forest from Laranjeiras, east of Trindade. It is home to a small fishing colony.
