One of the beauties of Cabo Frio lies in the presence of beautiful dunes on its beaches. Huge white sand dunes rise up. On the main dune, the Duna Mãe (Mother Dune, as it is called), one can practice sand surfing and sliding. Possibility of paragliding ascents towed by a large Jeep (see local agencies, but is it environmentally friendly?). A breathtaking view. Beware, the dunes can be very badly frequented, we record flights of tourists, so it is better to go there accompanied.
