The Auver'Green festival is a cultural event that takes place over three consecutive days in the town of Ardes-sur-Couze, located in the Massif du Cézallier, between the departments of Puy-de-Dôme, Cantal and Haute-Loire. The aim of the festival is to promote those involved in the ecological transition, by highlighting eco-responsible initiatives and environmentally-friendly alternatives. The program includes conferences with professionals, educational workshops, fun activities, educational games for children and adults, sporting activities, and a market of local producers and artisans. Discovery hikes are also offered to discover the Cézallier environment. The festival also features an artistic program of shows, concerts and screenings. In 2021, artists such as Trois Cafés Gourmands, Wazoo and Tryo took part in the event. Admission to the festival is free, but it's advisable to bring a water bottle, a cup, a hat, sun cream, good shoes and warm clothing for the evening. Food stalls featuring local produce are also available on site. To get to the festival, it's best to car pool and park in the Parrot, Le Luguet or Anzat-le-Luguet parking lots. Please note, however, that the festival may not be easily accessible to people with reduced mobility. Come and discover local initiatives and enjoy the many activities on offer at this committed festival.
