A remarkable 48 km-long river with pollution-free water and a rich fauna.
The river is 48 km long and has its source at an altitude of 1400 m on the slopes of Mount Chamaroux. Its banks are mostly wooded and interspersed with large stones, which does not hinder fishing in any way because all techniques are permitted here. Given the few villages it flows through, the water is free of pollution. The trout are therefore very numerous and of a correct size, given the richness of the environment. This abundance of food also benefits the gudgeon and minnows, which can be seen in large quantities in the currents.
