This time, we're moving away from the rustic decor of restaurants to try the hushed ambience of bourgeois cuisine. The Dona Irene restaurant was born in imperial Russia before settling 6 decades later in Teresópolis, another city of imperial tradition. It serves excellent zakouskis (small savory dishes), the traditional borscht, before hot starters (soufflés). 7 main courses are offered, including Chicken Kiev and Beef Stroganoff. All served with Teresópolis-produced vodka.
