The winter festival of the Federal University of Minas Gerais offers in different places of the state beautiful programs.
Winter Festival (so in July in this hemisphere) of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG): 10 days dedicated to the mineira culture, from music, theater, literature, to plastic arts. The festival takes place in Belo Horizonte. There may also be some stages in Ouro Preto. The programs are generally of good quality. It is sometimes a bit cold in Ouro Preto, so it is worth attending this festival.
