CASA DO BAILE
The building has become an obligatory meeting place for Belo-Horizontan high society, and now hosts small-scale exhibitions.
Originally, this Niemeyer building, part of the Pampulha complex, was intended as a popular dance hall. It soon became an obligatory meeting place for Belo-Horizontan high society, and is now used for small exhibitions (urban planning, design, architecture, etc.), as it is a one-room building. The large windows offer a superb view of the lagoon. Burle Marx designed the gardens. A change of position creates an interesting visual effect thanks to the design of the curves.
