For almost 40 years, Casa do Ouvidor has been located on the "rua direita". Right in the heart of Ouro Preto, on the second floor of a beautiful building on Rue Direita that the owners have completely rebuilt, the elegant house offers a menu with typical dishes (tutu and feijao tropeiro, for two) and other delights that will delight the most delicate taste buds (filet à la mode de la maison, chicken risotto...). L'IntérIeur is very cosy. One of the best tables in town! The service is as good as the place itself.

Although we are arrivals at 14:45, this restaurant agreed to be used to us his feijao tropeiro for 2 plus a selection of raw vegetables. Abundant dish that we did not finish. chic, attentive waiter but at that time we were alone (last guests leaving on our arrival). Balcony, view of the street that descends towards ND from Pilar.

Nous avons été plutot déçus par le restaurant. A part le bâtiment et son implantation sur l'artère centrale, la carte est très reduite, les plats sont basiques ainsi que les boissons. Décoration sans cachet et ambiance inexistantes: 4 tables occupées un jeudi soir de 20h a 22h dans une salle sombre et trop grande. Sinon service attentionné.
