The Pousada do Ouvidor is a pleasant family-run establishment located at the foot of the Nossa Senhora da Conceição church. This elegant colonial mansion, lovingly restored, is an oasis of comfort and tranquility. The 16 apartments are large and tastefully decorated. Some rooms offer a view of the Santa Efigênia church or the Antônio Dias bridge. Hearty home-cooked breakfasts are served. There's also a small tea room, and a restaurant in the evening. A fine address offering excellent value for money.
