ST. PETER'S CHURCH
This Romanesque building features a beautiful chevet with an apse surrounded by apsidioles.
Saint-Pierre church is set in the village of Arlanc. The Romanesque edifice, some parts of which date from the 12th century, features a fine apse surrounded by apsidioles. The restored interior features a slightly projecting transept, with a crossing surmounted by a cupola, and a nave flanked by aisles. The capitals are worthy of note. Also of note are a fine 16th-century stone piéta and an interesting Romanesque holy-water font. Several old bells remain, including one dating from 1492. A must-see if you're in the area!
