A peak culminating at 1,810 m, in the Serra do Caraça, offering two climbing routes ideal for a guided hike.
The peak is also known as Pico Catas Altas, and is reached by a 5-hour hike covering a distance of around 7 km. Once at the foot of the peak, there are two climbing routes. At the start of the ascent, you can see a small cave which, according to some locals, once housed a quilombo. Pico dos Horizontes rises to 1,810 meters and is located in the Serra do Caraça. Along the way, you'll find caves, streams and interesting, sometimes magnificent landscapes. Accompaniment by a local guide is compulsory.
