Congonhas is rarely visited for more than a day. Very often, it's just a stopover between Rio and the colonial towns of Minas, most often Ouro Preto. A one-night stop near the Bom Jesus sanctuary is an interesting option. The Circuito dos Inconfidentes pousada blends in perfectly with the surroundings.
