We've heard of the Relicário pousada, but the discovery of its "gastronomic" counterpart didn't disappoint - far from it! Right next to the central market, in this very retro setting - of course, since everything is reminiscent of the 1980s, including the vinyl records that serve as trivets - it offers North Minas cuisine and classic dishes, with quality ingredients, often produced in the house's own vegetable garden. Pastas, risottos, salads, everything is well prepared. Serro cheeses are given pride of place, and frankly, they're well worth a taste.
