Beautiful church with a single clock tower, featuring a wooden structure with earthen walls.
This rococo-style church was built between 1766 and 1772. It has a wooden structure with earthen walls. Its main façade is flanked by a single tower. It is the only building in the city to have a clock. The chapel's ceiling was painted by José Soares de Araújo. According to legend, he put a rat's head on some of the figures in revenge for not having been paid the agreed sum. The view from the tower is superb.
