Interesting house now housing the regional office of the organ and the Antônio Torres library.

This interesting house is one of the places to see or visit in Diamantina. This 18th-century residence, now the Antônio Torres Municipal Library, is characterized by its original Moorish-influenced moucharabiehs. The principle of the moucharabieh allowed guests to observe the street without being seen. Built for residential purposes, the house was acquired and restored by IPHAN in the 1950s. It now houses the organization's regional office, as well as the Antônio Torres library.
