TEMPERO DA ÂNGELA
When the mineira cuisine finds its nobility in a certain simplicity, we come close to the slow food, with a mineiro accent.
A favorite since our first visit. This Bichinho restaurant has a reputation that extends far beyond the borders of Minas. Fred de Saint-Jean, epicurean and cachaça aficionado, never visits Brazil without saying hello to the owner. It has to be said that Ângela cooks with love, in a wood-fired oven, and her welcome is unforgettable. In a very simple, rural setting, mineira cuisine finds its nobility in a certain simplicity. It's akin to slow food, with a Mineiro accent. A fine address.
