Minas obliges, Tiradentes is one of the Slow Cities, and the Viradas do Largo restaurant has established itself as one of the hotspots of Slow Food. A gastronomic guide has long named it the best regional cuisine restaurant in the country. Another excellent address for tasting mineiras specialities, with a touch of originality from chef Beth Beltrão, as in her saffron chicken, succulent leitão, suckling pig (to order), or her famous Tutu mineiro. Angu fritters(pastéis) are simpler, but no less essential.
