Made from materials salvaged from old fazendas, the pousada Oleo de Guignard recreates the atmosphere of rural Minas houses. It is reached by a small path that leads to this paradise of tranquility in the middle of nature. Eighteenth- and nineteenth-century furniture rubs shoulders with the contemporary. The spacious apartments are well-equipped. There's a swimming pool, solarium, sauna and spa amid lush vegetation. Excellent breakfast. A fine address.
