The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
Service: The majority of the guests of the resort comes from Brazil. There are only very little from abroad (about 30%, 20% of which are Argentine). They speak Spanish and Portuguese. Only a few staff members spoke English or French. The staff is friendly and smiling, making you feel welcome, which we really appreciated. The only thing that we found a little sad is constant waiting at the pool bars for drinks. All in all, we were satisfied with the service. We ordered drinks by room service and received we them very quickly. We really appreciated the fact that the managers of the hotel made available to explain us how the resort worked.
Rooms: beautiful and spacious rooms with a terrace. Bathroom with shower and bathtub. There is a large wardrobe and a safe. The minibar is stocked up and of course because it is an all-inclusive package, you can consume its content. We regret the fact that there are no snacks in the minibar.
Equipment: There is a SPA, several swimming pools, the beach, the restaurants and theater with evening entertainment. The facilities are good; the hotel is very clean and very comfortable. There are many activities during the day and many places where to go and enjoy the hotel. We just regret not having had time to visit the SPA. The hotel is large and you can easily go anywhere. In the rooms, you have a brochure where you can find all the different things to do and all details on the hotel. Very convenient.
Food: We did not try all the restaurants, and we stayed mostly buffet for all meals. And we loved. The food is very good, excellent even. Breakfast at dinner, you have plenty of choice and you cannot get bored. The only thing that we did not like is the lack of vegan dishes or the absence of labels indicating if the dish contains allergens (gluten lactose, etc.) or meat. But beautiful buffet and tasty dishes. No organic food either.
Location: The hotel is not located directly in the Strong town of Praia C. You will need to walk about 45 minutes to get there. However, the hotel is very well located by the sea. The beach is quite calm and it looks almost like being private (even if it is not it). The surrounding area is a natural park where you can go for a walk and to observe nature, which we found very nice. There is also a ground belonging to Iberostar and the resort itself is large and comfortable. There is even a smaller version of the Tamar project called Tamarinho located on the hotel beach.
