We were in the Ilheus Praia Hotel you say " single rooms and confortables" ... And expensive! That does not break a leg with a duck, especially as the city is rather dull! their comida has kilo is not that does not necessarily poor and there is a good restaurant opposite the hotel (though a little expensive): Vesuvio.
