Quiet, family-friendly beach with coconut palms, ideal for swimming and surfing, with calm waves and clear waters
2 km north of Itacimirim, Mundai is a rather quiet beach in the off-season and is popular with families. However, with the presence of many "barracas", weekends and holidays can attract a larger crowd. The many coconut trees provide a nice shade during the hot season and make the landscape very photogenic. The waters are clear and clean and very suitable for swimming. Surfers are not numerous.... because the waves are calm, but it is very suitable for children.
