Recently renovated, this pousada is located just off the main street "Broadway" and 100 meters from the beach. Opened in 1991, it is run by friendly and welcoming Italians. It is rather classic, despite its name, and comfortable. Pousada Alternativa offers eight spacious and well kept apartments, all equipped with a small fridge, TV, fan and air conditioning and many excursions from the pousada. There is a large breakfast buffet and a chill-out area with hammocks.
