Call them or have them called by the pousada or restaurant or take them at the head of the station. Do not hail them on the street. São Luís is not always a safe city. Oui, mais il faut parler portugais, personne ne parlant anglais ou autre ! les taxi en général n'ont aucune notion des points touristiques, même parfois ne connaissent pas les pousada ! Certaines pousadas appliquent un tarif unique pour le transport comme la casa Lavinia pour un transfert à 50 reais diurne (attention à l'augmentation de 2017), moins cher que de l’aéroport au centre. Dans l'autre sens, c'est parfois à la tête du client.

les taxi à Sao Luis et notamment cette compagnie, sont assez fiables et "mettent" d'eux même le compteur de tarif en fonctionnement dès que vous montez dans une voiture.Tres utile pour visiter des quartiers de la ville .Les chauffeurs sauront vous indiquer les points d’intérêts et les quartiers à eviter...
