The Puerto Quijarro-Santa Cruz train line is nicknamed the "train of death". The Expreso Oriental, from Corumbà to Puerto Quijarro, runs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 1:30 pm. The same train leaves Puerto Quijarro for Santa Cruz on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 1pm. Ferrobus from Santa Cruz to Puerto Quijarro on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 6pm, and from Puerto Quijarro to Santa Cruz on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 6pm.
