A must-see museum with rich exhibits on the region's Indian cultures
A must-see to learn more about the indigenous peoples of the Pantanal: Xavantes, Karajas, and Bororos. Rich exhibitions dedicated to the Indian cultures of the region. The museum is named after Cândido Rondon, a marshal who fought for the defense of indigenous rights. He patiently collected the museum's collection of feather costumes, religious ornaments, ritual objects, ceramics, and period photographs. On the Campus, at sunset, hundreds of birds settle down.
